Strut LADY: H.H. Sheika Mozah bint Nasser Al Missned of Qatar

Qatar’s 1st(?)Lady, a wife of new Harrod’s owner Sheik Hamad bin Khalifa al-Thani, has been on my radar for a while now for all the right reasons. Why is she my Strut Lady? Her style is impeccable, she is not afraid of colour and carries herself with such poise and grace, that whilst some of what she wears might not be the first thing we’d choose off of a rail (google her and you’ll see an image of her in a green outfit on Bastille day), she pulls it off so well you fall in love with it.
And don’t let me start on her turbans, they make her look so regal I’m contemplating increasing my range of snoods, scarf and headwear so I can totally slay this winter!

Reinvent Yourself

Going though a feature in UK Vice Student Guide, I came across ‘Reinvent Yourself’ which brought back on of my first experiences at University. When I first started uni, I was overwhelmed by the bold, beautiful and downright bizarre character’s I found myself surrounded by. I assumed they were born stylish (or weird) so it was a surprise to discover that a lot of them were geeks/nerds/social outcasts/ugly ducklings in (what I’d like to call) their previous life.

I wouldn’t say I reinvented myself at uni, my style merely developed into what it is today. I believe I dress pretty normal but I won’t lie, I did consider reinventing my style a couple of times. However, whilst I believe that you should put some effort into how you look, it should also come naturally to you (attention seekers take note i.e. Lady Gaga)which is probably why I love the above re-invention looks as they still hold a bit of their old personalities.

I've Been A Very, Very Bad Blogger

I know I am, and I want to say thank you to everyone that continues to stop by. I've been a bit busy lately, and I just about have the time to look at other blogs let alone blog myself. I really want to do another D.I.Y post, but I just haven't had the time to do one... but one will be coming soon!! I promise.
