DIY: Jumpsuit

This post is long overdue.
Earlier this year I promised (either myself or you guys-I'm not sure) that I would do DIY posts, and after swearing not to ever touch a sewing/overlock/coverstitch machine again, I've found myself being drawn back into making clothes again.

I've been doing quite a bit of making recently (I made my graduation skirt, and an outfit for a christening) so there should be some more DIY posts in the near future.

Alexander Wang's Spring/Summer 2010 collection was one my favourites on the S/S'10 collections purely for it's take on luxe sportswear, and it provided inspiration for the fabric.

[The dress on the left I will be making later]

I'm awful at documenting things, because it was only once I had pinned the pattern pieces down that I remembered to take pictures

Necklace-New Look
Belt-H&M
Shoes-New Look

It does look slightly different to the drawing-the sleeves for one are fitted when they were supposed to be baggy. I can't remember why I kept them fitted but it may have been down to me being too lazy to alter the sleeve block but when I'm making the dress I'll try to sort that out.

My face wasn't camera ready which is why it's blocked out.
