Seven Photographs That Changed Fashion

I was looking for something to watch online (I have Sky but can you believe that with over 1000 channels they have nothing decent for me to watch)and ended up doing some "research" on David Gandy. I came across this video of a BBC4 documentary about photographer Rankin recreating seven iconic photographs that changed fashion and thought I'd share part 1 & 2 with you...
{Part One}

{Part Two}

I'll bring you part 3-8 later.

Beyonce Promo Pics

I much prefer these pictures to her "I Am" cover which I find painfully boring.

I LOVE this motorcycle-corset look!

And This should have been the cover imo...

Pharrel for Louis Vuitton advert

Why have I never seen nor heard about this advert before? It's hella old as well.

*That 'cherub holding the diamond' piece at the end is so cute*

Jourdan Dunn for Topshop: Autumn/Winter 2008-2009

The UK's Jourdan Dunn, Canadians Amanda Laine and Kori Richardson and US model Karlie Kloss are all fronting Topshop's Autumn/Winter 08-09 ad campaigns. The ad campaign has a "London vibe" to it according to Topshop's Creative Director Ronnie Cook-Newhouse and the campaign was shot on the tube and on buses.

I'm not too feeling the shots, nor am I feeling the clothes and the only reason I keep looking at them is because Jourdan's in them. But I'm going to try not to pass too much judgement as I haven't seen all the pictures yet.

Jourdan is most definately on the rise. She has already graced the covers of Vogue America and and Vogue Italia as well as featuring in over 70 runway shows and seeing as Topshop's known to feature models that later going on to do big things (see Caroline Trentini, Lily Cole and Lily Donaldson) if this campaign doesn't make Jourdan blow up I don't know what will.

Solange Knowles promo pictures

Here are some cute promo pics for Solange's upcoming album Sol-Angel & The Hadley Street Dreams. I really love the direction Solange is going in style and music-wise. It seems like she has really found herself and I can't wait to hear the new album.
