Rihanna Does Fashion Week

So, as I stated previously, I was on Rihanna watch during Paris fashion week, and I must say her(her stylists) choices in outfits definately out there. I love and appreciate how much thought and effort went into her looks for PFW, but I wish it were more reigned in like last year.


My favourite looks out of all of them were the (October 2nd)Vivienne Westwood blazer and camel colour boots, (October 4th) Karl Lagerfeld jumpsuit and the Hussien Chalayan dress and boots combo.

George Lamb: THE Best Dressed Man on T.V.

I knew this post was going to be difficult to do from the jump because, if you do not watch Big Brother's Little Brother (or any of his other work) you're most probably not going to know who George Lamb is. So for those who don't know, he is THE best dressed man on television. Period. And don't you dare try to tell me otherwise.
I have been doing this post mentally but when it came to actually sitting down and typing it up, I realised that finding decent pictures that would illustrate how great this man's style of dress would be like trying to draw blood from a rock. There isn't alot out there on him, so I've included a few youtube video's of him in the hope that you will see what I mean.



I find it funny how a lot of the clothes he wears and the way he puts them together would normally be a HUGE no-no for me-crimes against fashion! But all 6'5" of him manages to carry them off so well.
Flip flops, rolled up formal trousers paired with canvas trainers, and dickie bow ties (the good Lord knows I hate dickie bow ties with such a burning passion) he has worn them all but still manages to look major. Even Brix Smith-Start complimented him on it.

Seeing as I cannot have Mr Lamb, my future husband will be forced to dress like him.

Rihanna and Lily Allen came with the Boss Bitch Realness this week in power-suit inspired clothing, whilst Tyra Banks and Pixie Lott demonstrated how to make khaki look chic with Ms Banks sporting a luxe sport get up and Pixie's chilling out in her festival attire.

Meagan Good: BodyCon Queen/Credit Crunch Chic

I was thinking about making Meagan Good my It Girl this month but I'm still undecided.You're probably thinking why? Well, I've considered Meagan purely because in 2008 everytime she was spotted out and about she was looking on point. However, each time she was papped, she was also seen to be doing her bit for the planet by recycling an item of clothing.

Now, there's nothing wrong with wearing the same thing twice, but I seriously think she has the smallest wardrobe ever as she's always wearing the same thing on the red carpet. That said, there is a recession and all but I'm not letting it affect my wardrobe and I'm a mere mortal so she has no excuse.

Anyways, back to why I wanted to pick her. I love that whole bodycon, 'schlurrrp' sucked into skin tight garments look. I've been channeling it for a while now with skinny jeans, one piece tanks, and spandex (I should probably start a 'what I wore today' segment) and seeing Meagan Good work it on the red carpets shows that you can take it through on a night out without looking casual.
I'm going to give her a couple of more months to collect more fashion stripes, then she might make an appearance for the It Girl section, but until then, here's how you can jack her style...

Watching some re-runs of season 1 of "Run's House", made me notice that Vanessa & Angela's style had come a long way. This past couple of months they have been popping up all over the place at events looking all cute and stuff, and I'm starting to see their own individual style shine through.
