In Search of Cigarette Pants

I've been fiending for a pair of Cigarette pants for nearly 3 years now, and I still haven't found a pair. Well.. I did, a black shiny pair in H&M but they were slightly too fitting which made me look as though I were busting out of them.

The first time I clapped eyes on a pair was when I saw a picture of them being worn by Audrey Hepburn. Years later, and my desire to own a pair has been refuelled after seeing those skinny models rocking black and hot pink versions of them on the runway during the Jill Sander Spring '08 show. Seriously, if I don't find a pair anytime soon, I will be cutting up a pair and ironing creases down the front... in fact, what's stopping me? I should go right ahead and do that now!

BET Awards

The other night saw the celebs put on their glad rags for the BET awards, and although I do not watch BET, I had my eyes peeled on the 'net to see who was going to be looking hot and who was going to look a damn mess! And the were hit's and plenty of misses.

Black Vogue Italia

Finally! I feel like I've been waiting forever for this all black Vogue Italia issue. I spotted the cover over at SheBreathes, what's your take on it? I'm not gonna lie, I'm a little underwhelemed by it. You see, I visualised Iman, Alek Wek, Liya, Chanel Iman, Tyra, Jourdann Dunn, Naomi, Sessilee Lopez and the rest all together for the cover shot... so this is a bit... I dunno. I'm still going to buy the issue just so that I can get my hands on the images.

Dress Like...

I was bored again, and couldn't think of anything to blog about :( So I went on Polyvore (as I always do when I'm bored) so I could see if I had anything on Lysa Cooper (I ♥ this womans work). I stumbled across this 'Dress Like...' challenge where you pick a celeb and style them or recreate an outfit, and of course I picked Rihanna. Whaddaya think? The layout's messed up from where I edited so much-so ignore that.

Sorry...

I'm so sorry I haven't been updating. I've had so much work to do for uni as we're rapping up for the summer in a weeks time. I've also had to work (gotta get that money) and to top it off I've had a cold, so I was not in the right frame of mind to make a post. I promise, after all of this uni stuff is out of the way, I will start blogging properly again.

I've just watched the season finale of 'Lost'... Why do they always end it like that??? I actually enjoyed the episode this time, as usually, I only watch it to see if any of my questions are answered, and of course they're not. But this time round, even though my questions weren't answered apart from how the 6 got off of the island, I was sat infront of the telly with my mouth open (but that was because my nose is blocked and I can't breath any other way- I look like such a retard).

anywhoo, I'm off to bed now. I've gotta wake up early so I can snatch a sewing machine and workspace at uni-I need to get my dress done!

EDIT: Oh no they didn't! For the past several weeks, Trouble have been advertising 'Girlfriends' season 7 as the new series even though though they have shown it before, but rather than showing season 7 they took it back to season 1!!! I mean I love 'Girlfriends' and everything but there's only so many times I can watch that episode of them fighting outside the club with the 'bald headed bitch' whilst Joan looks on in despair. After I finish watching 'Lost', I change over to Trouble +1 only to find that they're now showing season 8!! and I missed episode 1 and the best part of episode 2. I'll have to set my Sky+ to record the repeats tomorrow.
