Clothes Show London

I couple of weeks ago, I had the chance to dress backstage at Clothes Show London. Fun times! Although there was a lot of waiting around, sharing air with TV personalities was all the compensation I needed. I even got to meet George Lamb (who is ridiculously tall, and just as hot in real life).

I should have done this post ages ago, but there were so many photos to sort through that I kinda gave up. I then planned to do it this weekend, but I then spent it weeping in the corner of my room because I couldn't go to Wireless (that's a lie-but I was a bit peed off that I had to miss it). So I'm posting the pictures now before it becomes irrelevat (some may say it already is...)
Shoe Porn!!

I was dressing model Vita Rubina who werrrked it

A fraction of the people who worked on the show

These are just 16 images out of 230+ and clearly I'm no Mario Testino but there you go. I never got to see the show properly-only the rehearsals, , but I've managed to see a couple of clips on youtube and it looks so calm and organised on stage. If you saw how manic it got backstage at times...

Will Work For Free

Saturday night was the British Soap Awards, which means exposing your eyes to the red carpet outfits is done at your own risk. I really don't understand why only a handfull of the actresses get it right, It's almost as if they go all out to look disgusting.

But wait... It get's worse...

Here are the not so bad ones

I'm not going to slag anyone off personally because I'm sure/hope they were told that their outfits we're hot and fashion forward by some so called fashion industry person. All I am going to say is that if any soapstar needs someone to style them for any forthcoming events, I will do it. And I will work for free! Trust me-I can do things to highstreet items that will leave even the mighty Gok Wan (google him if you must) speechless.

"Be Who You Wanna Be.

B-A-R-B-I-E"

Barbie's 50th Anniversary show went down the other night and it was by far the best show I have seen so far from New York Fashion Week. If you're going to do tacky why not take a leaf from Barbie go overboard and do it in style. I loved the intro, and the whole past, present, future theme they had going on. I so wish I was there and I'm mega envious of Aoki and Ming Lee Simmons getting to do the finale.

My favourites were...
{ By Patricia Field}

{By Catherine Malandrino}

{By The Blonds}

{By Kimora Lee Simmons, and I never ever thought I'd like anything by KLS}

I need one of those tees because it's true, "Everyone Needs A Ken".
